"Helpful sometimes, but not my favorite reminder app"
The reminders do help me stay on track, but compared to other apps I’ve used, they can feel a little too much at times. Some notifications are useful, while others just end up annoying me.

"Makes fasting feel easy to stick with"
I started using Lose It mainly for intermittent fasting, and it’s been really helpful. As someone who does better when I can actually see my routine laid out, I like being able to check my eating window without making it a whole thing. It’s simple, easy to use, and does exactly what I need. I’ve been way more consistent with fasting than when I was just guessing every day.

"Decent recipe builder"
Works okay overall, but feels a little clunky when editing ingredients.

"I liked using Lose It overall. Compared…"
I liked using Lose It overall. Compared to a lot of other food tracking apps, it felt simple and easy to stick with, and it did help me stay on track for a while. My main issue was the billing. I didn’t realize my renewal was coming up, and canceling took more digging than I expected. Support did get back to me, but it wasn’t exactly quick. Not the worst experience, just more annoying than it needed to be

"Decent for tracking, but didn’t keep me motivated"
Lose It is fine if you just want to track what you’re eating, but umm, it didn’t really help me build better habits. After about a week, it started to feel like I was just logging things without much guidance or motivation. I ended up losing interest quickly.

"Makes tracking food way easier"
I’ve been using Lose It for a few months now, and umm, the food database is probably my favorite thing about it. Most of the stuff I scan is already in there, even random grocery store items or restaurant meals, which saves a lot of time. I do still double-check the calories once in a while if something looks off, but it doesn’t happen too often. Adding meals is quick, and I don’t feel like I’m constantly fighting with the app. It just makes tracking food a lot less annoying...

"Super easy to adjust my goals"
I like how easy it is to change my goals whenever I need to. Compared to other apps I’ve tried, this one feels a lot less frustrating and more flexible. Handy overall

"Fine for calories, but they could do more with macros"
It tracks calories well enough for the basics, but they kind of make the macro and nutrient details feel limited unless you pay up and go digging around for them

"Decent idea, but frustrating to use"
I was hoping this would make checking items a little quicker, and the setup itself wasn’t too bad. It feels fine in the hand and looks like it should do the job, but after using it for a bit, it started getting annoying. I’d line up the barcode, try different angles, even adjust the lighting, and it still missed scans way more often than I expected. When it works, it’s fine, but it just doesn’t pick things up consistently enough.

"Ads are low-key, I guess"
I barely even notice the ads most of the time, which is nice. The app works fine for me and doesn’t really interrupt what I’m doing. Not gonna lie, I expected it to be annoying, but it’s been totally okay. Like, surprisingly decent.

"Feels secure and easy to manage"
I’ve been using Lose It for a while now, mostly because I got tired of trying to track things in random notes on my phone, and it’s been a smooth experience. I like that my data doesn’t feel scattered all over the place, and the privacy settings are simple enough that I didn’t have to sit there Googling what everything meant. The app feels secure to me, and so far I haven’t had any weird emails, random account issues, or anything that made me second-guess using it...

"Feels Honest and Easy to Trust"
I like that the calories seem to match up closely. It makes me feel like the company is being upfront and doing the right thing, which matters to me. When the numbers are reliable, it’s just easier to trust what I’m eating

"Not sure the free version is enough"
I started using it because I wanted an easy way to track my meals, and at first I thought the free version might be fine. But after a bit, I kept running into features that were locked, which got frustrating quickly. Maybe I’m expecting too much from a free app, but it feels a little too limited to be useful for long.
"Good for food logging, but Fitbit syncing is inconsistent"
I’ve been using Lose It mainly to track my food, and from what I remember day to day, that part has been solid. The exercise tracking is okay too, but the Fitbit syncing has been hit or miss for me. Some days my workouts show up almost right away, and other times I’m waiting for hours or end up reconnecting it. I’ve also noticed the calories burned seem a little higher than I’d expect, so I don’t always trust that number. Overall, it’s not a bad app, especially for food logging, but I do wish the fitness integration felt more dependable. It’s still usable if you’re okay double-checking things manually

"Been working really well on my laptop lately"
I’ve been using Lose It mostly on my laptop recently, and it’s been great. The web version loads fast, logging meals is straightforward, and I really like being able to see everything on a bigger screen. Based on how smooth it’s been for me lately, I don’t have any major complaints

"Not Worth the Price"
In the end, I just don’t think it’s worth what they’re charging. I wanted to like it, but the price feels too high for what you actually get.

"Support got back to me fast"
I reached out to support and thought, okay, this might take a while. But nope, they replied quickly and helped me out faster than I expected.

"Tracked Everything, Scale Barely Moved"
I tracked my food carefully, down to little things like sauces, snacks, and even the splash of milk in my coffee. I thought being that detailed would make a bigger difference, but my weight barely changed. Maybe it helped me notice my habits more, but results-wise, it was kind of underwhelming.

"Helpful community, but my trust took a hit"
The community helped me stay on track, and most of the people I interacted with were really nice. That part made a big difference for me. But over time, a few things made me feel less confident in the overall experience, and my trust started to wear down a bit. I still appreciate the support from the folks there, though.

"I use the meal planner every week and…"
I use the meal planner every week and it helps keep me on track without having to think about it too much... just makes the whole week feel a little more organized.
